RIPPLE OF THE RAPIDS.
Jos. P. Lewis, of Canton, Missouri, was
in town this week.
Eph. Donahue, of Sun River, took in
Great Falls Wednesday.
W. B. Johnson, of Highwood, favored
us with a call Wednesday.
H. B. Dickinson, an employe of the
TRIBUNE, has gone to Helena.
W,. I. . Black, of Choteau, the republican
-nominee for sheriff, was in town one day
this week.
3Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn were down from
their home Wednesday and took in the
:theatre in the evening.
Mr. Knight, of the firm of Albrec lit &
Knight of this place, has returned to Da
ola: to remain during the winter.
A number of the members of the Dem
,acratic club of this place, attended the I
rally in Sun 1iver Friday evecning.

Strayed.
Strayed from my ranch two miles east of
Great Falls, one bay horse, branded 0 and
vented S on left shoulder. Has white
stripe in face, three white feet and saddle
marks. Was draging long rope with iron
pin attached when last seen. A liberal re
ward will be paid for his return or for in
farmation that will lead to his recovery.

Highwood Notes.
Jered Smith of Highwood was in town
this week and gave the TRIBUNE a pleas
rant call.
Hunting now seems to be the order of
-the day. We hear that several parties of
ladies and gentlemen have been camping
in the Highwood mountains, hunting deer
and mountain sheep with great success.
They had a ball at Highwood recently
which was largely attended and the lads
and lasses all enjoyed themselves heartily.
There has been a marriage at Highwood.
'The contracting parties were Jos. Braith
-waite and Mrs. Leiders.
