Said tax shall be levied and r collected by the several counties and patid to the territorial treasurer in the same 2 manner as is provided by law for the levy j and collection of other taxes. Such fund a shall constitute the sheep inspector andd indemnity fund to be used in tihe payment 1 of the salaries nid expenses or such skill- ed. ed assistants as the Veterinary Surgeon S may employ, as provided for in section tak nine of this act, and all other expenditures 1 arising fromin the provisions of this act ex cept the pay of the Veterinary Surgeon. Sec. 3. Upon receipt of iuformation in writing over the signature of the president I or secretary, and not less than two mem- torn bers of the executive committee of any hat regularly organized territorial, district or C. 1 county wool growers association that any the sheep are infected with scab o" infectious disi diseases, such notice shall be prima facie an evidence that such disease exists and the the Territorial Veterinary Surgeon or his dep- ina uty shall immediately cause the diseased I sheep and all sheep running in the same rite flock with them to be examined, and if one found so diseased to be quarantined and ser held within a certain limit or place to be [: defined by him, and such sheep shall be held in quarantine until the owner or per son in charge shall have eradicated such scab or infectious diseases effectually. The expense of feeding,. holding, clipping and ney taking care of, all sheep quarantined un- om der the provisions of this shall be paid by the the owner, agent, or person in charge of If said sheep. for Sec. 4. It shall be the duty of the Veter- the inary Surgeon or his deputy sergeon to in- har spect all sheep of which he may receive key notice as provided in section three of this COn act, and in case the same be not diseased for he shall make a certificate stating such fact. But if the sheep are diseased the I regulations for their quarantine and keep- ing ing shall at once be made. the Sec. 5. In no case shall any sheep held low in quarantine be moved or transferred un wau til the disease shall have been thoroughly for eradicated, and a certificate made by the cou Veterinary Surgeon stating that he has ex- boa amined said sheep and that the same are rep free from scab or infectious diseases.
