Work on the Park annex is progressing rapidly and the frame will shortly be up. The steamer Rosebud arrived at Benton last Tuesday evening, having on board 200 tons of merchandise. An addition is being made to the Town site Co's building on Park drive, for the i accommodation of the several secret socie- o ties. We understand the H. & B stage com- i pany will put on a double daily coach be tween Helena and this point in a few weeks. It is a noticable upon the signs over the doors of the gambling saloons, that the word licensed has been sawed off and reads "license." It should be licensed, we think. The Park hotel is feeding from 100 to 1 150 each meal and the Cascade from 60 to 90, while the other hotels and boarding houses are feeding all they tan readily ac- 1 commodate. Of course it's a secret that Great Falls will soon revel ie in the glories of a telephone exchange, d but then we are under no bonds to keep it. Wonder why the young athletes intown do not organize a base ball club? There is at sufficient good timber to organize a crack ee nine. It is good, healthy exercise, and a ig match game with the Ft.
