Frank of 509 East Fourth street has been recall ed to active duty by the war depart ment and will report to the quarter master replacement pool at Camp Lee, Va., according to a press re lease from Sixth army Montana headquarters at Helena. The action is in conformity with a war depart ment policy of placing on active duty officers with necessary quali fications who volunteer for such duty. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon MacDonald and daughter Diane Gay, spent Christmas at Manhattan with Mr. MacDonald's parents, Rev. and Mrs. John MacDonald of the Manhattan Presbyterian church. Miss Rosella Fritz and Miss Stell avee Wooters were guests at a pitch-in buffet supper of the Bill Rotana club at the home of mgs Miss Mary Adeline Cook.
