Where there is difficulty of breath ing expectoration, or soreness of the throat and bronchial tubes, with a constantly irri tating cough, the very best remedy is Ayer's Cherry Pectoral. It removes the phlegm, soothes irritation, stops coughing, and in duces repose. As an emergency medicine, Ayer's Cherry Pectoral should be in every household. "There is nothing better for coughs than Ayer's Cherry Pectoral. I use no other preparation."—Annie S. Butler, 169 Pond st, Providence. R. I "I suffered severely from bronchitis; but was CURED BY Ayer's Cherry Pectoral. It saved my life." —Geo. B. Hunter, Goose River, N. S. "About a year ago I took the worst cold that ever a man had, followed by a terrible cough. The best medical aid was of no avail. At last I began to spit blood, when It was supposed to be all over with me. Every remedy faiHM, till a neighbor recom mended Ayer's Cherry rectoral. I took half a teaspoonful of this medicine, three times a day, regularly, and very soon began to improve. My cough left me, my sleep was undisturbed, my appetite re turned, my emaciated limbs gained flesh and strength and, to-day, thanks to the Pectoral, I am a well man." —H. A. Bean, 28 Winter st., Lawrence, Mass. Ayer's Cherry Pectoral 'PREPARED BT * Dr. i. C. AYER & CO., Lowell, Mass. Bold by all Druggists. Price $1 ; six bottles, $5. ! ! j 1 Montana'* Educational Exhibit. At the annual meeting of the State j Teachers" association there was collected | and exhibited specimens of school work from many of the schools of the state. It is the design of the association to pre pare for exhibition at the World's Col umbian exi>osition a full and complete collection of the school work done in the state, and in furtherance of this design there was a committee of three ap pointed to take charge of the matter and from this time on preparations will go on actively. The display made at Bozeman was very creditable, but not so complete as it would have been if a longer time bad been given for the prep aration. The names of those appointed on the committee are: Prof. Robert G. Young, Helena; Prof. J. W. Hamilton, Missoula, and Prof. Stone of Anaconda. This committee will work in connection with the state board of world's fair man agers, and the material to be used will all be collected, classified and arranged, so as to be ready for exhibit at the next annual meeting of the association to be held in Missoula. The exhibit made by the schools of Helena were worthy of especial atten tion, and it is hoped that other cities and counties will endeavor to do as well at the next meeting. Those best informed in educational matters assert that should the work dis played next year be on the same plane of excellence the exhibit will compare favorably with that from any of the western states. Salt Lake Tribune: Montana is the foremost mining state in the republic. Except for the long shut down on the Anaconda no other state could have compared with her in Iheoutput of min erals this year. Then enough have been explored to show that in the next four or five years her aggregate of gold and silver, coppor and other minerals will lead all others in the union. Within the year a district covered with precious stones has been discovered; how exten sive, as yet no one can tell, but enough at least has been revealed to induce heavy syndicate of English capitalists to invest large sums fur purchasing and de velopment. Of course, in the matter of cattle and sheep ranges, no state except Texas can equal Montana, and the possibilities of the state as an agricultural state can be imagined by the recent remark made by Mr. Clark at the irrigation convention here last autumn, when he said: "Mon tana has more land susceptible of irri gation, and more water with which to irrigate that land than any other state in the arid belt." It is advancing with giant strides; the money being taken from the mines is be ing invested on the surface, and the re sult is that the cities and towns are thri ving, and that the desert is being in every direction transformed into fruit ful tields. A strong and brave people are they up there; the future of Montana is just as certain to be great as that ef " " " " PLEASURE RESORT AND HOME FOR THE SICK. HUNTER'S HOT SPRINGS !
