Knaipp and Mrs. Gordon Bruce were joint hos tesses to a number of ladies at the Knapp home last Thursday evening. Three tables of bridge were in play. Refreshments were Served. BARWISE AND MRS. • ED JOHNSON HOSTS AT BRIDGE LUNCHEON Last Friday afternoon Mrs. Barwise and Mrs. Ed Johnson were hosts at the Barwise home to a number of invited 'guests which made five tables of bridge. A delicious luncheon was served before the play. Hi score for the afternoon’s play went to Mrs. Russel and Mrs. Coffey and Mrs. Hamblin winning cut prize. TILTON FAMILY DINNER GUESTS AT MORLEY HOME On the occasion of Homer’s birthday last Friday • Feb. 21st, Mr. Ben Tilton, Virginia and Homer were dinner guess at the home of Mrs. H. Morley, MASON AND STARS BOLD ANNUAL PARTY The Masonic and Eastern Star member met last Thursday even ing at the Masonic Halt for their Washington party. The Hall was beautifully decorated in patriotic color and the ladies putting on the program under the direction of Worthy Matron Leora Ship man were also dressed to carry out the patriotic theme. JAMES HIGGINS The Junior Women’s Club sponsored a luncheon on Satur day noon as a farewell to Mrs. James Hgigins who has been one of them since coming to Wolf Point. Mrs. Higgins by her ami able manner and pleasing pers onality has made a host of friends among the older group as well as the younger set. She will be greatly missed. After the luncheon, Mrs. Louise Husband in the name of the club present ed a gift to Mrs. Higgins. We take the liberty thru this col umn to wish Mr. and Mrs. Hig gins every success and happiness in their new location. MRS. BARWISE AND MRS. ED JOHNSON ENTERTAIN GUESTS FRIDAY EVENING . Friday evening Mrs. Barwise and Mrs. Ed Johnson entertain ed a large group of friends, enough in number to make up twelve tables of whist, at the Barwise home. The guests enjoy ed themselves to the utmost be tween the cards and a most soc iable evening, followed by a fine lunch served by the hostesses. First- prize was awarded to Mr. and Mr. z H. W. Bryan for high score, and the remaining eleven tables with each table making its own rule awarded a cut prize to one member at each table. FITZSIMMONS I HAVE WEEK END TRIP Mr. and Mrs. Max Fitzsim -1 mons left Friday morning by way of Great Falls, where they i met Helen Fitzsimmons who ac companied them to Deer Lodge, Montana. They visited Mr. Fitz simmons father who is employed iat the State Penitentiary. They 'were week end guests at the , Wardens home and were taken thru every department of the ; institution, which they enjoyed very much.
