Page Four Wolf Point Locals Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Asbury re turned Saturday from a business trip to Billings. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Casey visited relatives and friends in Bainville and vicinity, Sunday. The Paul Brown family and the Don Mueller family enjoyed a pic nic at Poplar Park Sunday. Charles Walzenbacb returned Tueaday from Crosby, N. Dak. Where he has been employed. Mr. and Mrs. Pat Sullivan of Qlaifow were guests at the home of Mrs. Emma Anderson, Sunday. Mrs. Emma Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Nat Green and her mother. Mrs. Harding were business visitors in Circle. Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dietrich left Saturday morning for Kalispell Where they will remain for a vaca tion and visit friends. Dak. arrived Saturday for a visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Lund. Virgil Buchanan and T. A. Chris tiansen returned Friday morning from a business trip to St. Paul, Minn. Mrs. Don Mueller and Mrs. Paul Brown returned Monday from Glasgow where they spent the sev eral days on business. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sethre of Kalispell were recent guests at the Donald Sethre home and of other relatives and friends here. John Bell of Columbia Falls is a guest at the home of his sister, Mrs. Walter Mueller in the Nickwall community, for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hanson ex pected to spend the Fourth of July at the home of his mother, Mrs. Carrie Hanson near Bainville. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Nelson and daughter, Ginny, arrived Saturday night from Stanford, for a visit at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Nelson. Mrs. Elaine Race left Saturday for her home at Los Angeles, Calif, after visiting since last Monday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Walzenbach. Mr. and Mrs. Tony Dasinger and family of Sidney, visited at the home of his brother, H. M. Dasinger THE HERALD-NEWS — Wolf Point, Roosevelt County, Montana and family. They were enroute to Seattle, Wash, to visit relatives. Mr. apd Mrs. Albert Berndt and Charles Hamblin planned to leave Monday for a fishing trip to Fort Peck lake. They planned to be away over the Fourth of July holiday. Mr. and Mrs. C. Torgerson and daughter Marie of Minot, N. Dak. arrived Sunday for a visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hanson. Mrs. Torgerson is Mr. Hanson’s sister. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Hanson, for mer Wolf Point residents, now of Havre are the parents of a son born, Saturday, June 24. He has been named Donald James. The Hansons are former Wolf Point residents. Mrs. Walter Wiers and sons Frank and Kenneth, returned Wednesday morning from Butte where they visited her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Birmingham for the past two weeks. During her visit a family re union was held at the Frank Birm ingham home. Everett Booth of Billings is spending several days in the city on business concerning his farming Interest in Roosevelt and Valley counties. Since leaving the Poplar vicinity more than a year ago, Mr. Booth has been associated with a tailoring firm in Billings. Mrs. C. O. Hanson and daughter, Gloria visited in the city Wednes day before leaving for Malta where the family will make their future home. Mr. Hanson recently pur chased an oil station in the Phillips county seat. He was formerly with the Farmers Union Lumber Com pany here. Private Ted Crauee arrived Sat urday from Ft. Knox, Ky. to spend a several days furlough visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Crause, before leaving on an overseas assignment to Ko rea with the army advisory group. He has been recently stationed at Ft. Bragg with the Military Police unit. Private Crause, a veteran of . World War 11, previously served overseas. He was in the armed services four and one-half years. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ahrens were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Byxbe south of Sunnyside, Sunday. The group later attended the baseball game at Prairie Elk between Sunnyside and Prairie Elk. Sunnyside won, the final score being 7 to 11. A large crowd attended. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Conroy and I son David of Bakersfield, Calif., former residents of the Volt com munity, are guests at the home of Mrs. Rita Feick. This is the Con roys’ first visit since they left here 25 years ago to make their home in California. A number of parties were given in their honor. They plan to remain here over the Fourth of July. Arriving during the week end for a visit at the Frank Lemieux were the eight sons-in-law and daughters of the Lemieux’ includ- j ing Mr. and Mrs. Du want* Curtiss of Circle, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Olson of Riverside, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Reese of Billings, Mr. and Mrs. \V.
