Page Four Wolf Point Local and Social Items Miss Joan Rick Weds Neil J. Fuller At Bozeman, June 20th Fr. Colette married Joan Virgin ia Rick and Neil J. Fuller Wed nesday June 20th at 9 a.m. in the Holy Rosary Church, Bozeman. The bride is the daughter of Dixie Rick of Russell, Minnesota. Fuller’s mother is Mrs. E. U. Fuller of Wolf Point. The soloist. Miss Ann McCormics of Bozeman sang "Ava Marie” and "Happy We Who Thus United". The bride wore a white summer suit with white accessories and carried a bridal bouquet if white gladioli. Miss Patricia Boyle of Butte was her maid of honor and wore an applegreen suit and had a corsage of salmon pink gladioli. Don Rick of Russell, Minnesota was best man. Mrs. Rick, the bride’s mother, wore a beige suit with orchard accessories. Mrs. Fuller, the groom's mother, wore a black suit with white accessories. Both mothers had a corsage of yellow roses. A wedding breakfast was served to about 20 guests at the Baxter Hotel at Bozeman. Among the guests were the bride’s uncle and aunt. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Smith of Great Falls, and Dean Harrison of Bozeman. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi. The groom graduated from the Wolf Point high school. He attended the Uni versity at Berkeley. California and graduated from Montana State Col lege June 25th. He has been Tech nical Director .of ‘ The Sock and Buskin" and a member of the Dramatic honorary fraternity: Elsie Sturm And Ole Olson United At Chapel Ceremony Miss Elsie R. Sturm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Sturm of Brockton and Ole B Olson, son of Minnie Olson of Wolf Point, were united in marriage by Navy Chap lain Sharp at the Treasure Island Navy Chapel. San Francisco The bride wore a gray suit with white accessories. Miss Velma Flynn of Frazer was her maid of honor and wore a navy suit and white accessories. The groom's best man was Frank Frost of New Mexico. Mrs. Olson is employed by the Montana Dakota Utilities Company, and has returned to work. Mr. Olson is stationed on U. S. S. Taussig at Hunter's Point. He- will be shipping overseas in a short time. THE HERALD • NEWS, Wolf Point, Roosevelt County, Montana Steve Boysun was entertained at a birthday supper at the H. V. John son home Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hamblin at tended the State Elk’s convention at Billings last week. Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Neufeld left Saturday on a trip to Toleka, Kan sas and other points. Mr. and Mrs. Eric Mourn left Thursday for Grand Forks where they will visit relatives. Mrs. Gertrude Alstad returned Wednesday from a two-week va cation at Moorhead, Minnesota. Mr and Mrs. J. Hoffland and Mrs. Elmer Hoffland deturned from a short trip to Great Falls Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hoffland and baby had dinner with Mayme and Ada Jacobi Sunday evening. Mrs. Allen Zimmerman, Mrs. Melvin Engle of Poplar were Wolf Point visitors and shoppers Monday. Dr. and Mrs. H. J. Borge and family were Sunday dinner guests at the Milo Hillstad home at Circle. Mr. and Mrs. Ordean Olson and Dean and O. W. Olson returned Monday night from a trip to Miles City. Ted Tegner of Hector, Minnesota passed away suddenly. Mr. Tegner has a sister, Mrs. O. W. Olson, here. Mr. and Mrs. Rusty Holt and daughters of Lewistown spent the week-end at the home of Edgar Walters. Mrs. Charles Howe left for Min ot Sunday with her daughter Jean Swanson and husband. She will visit there. T. H. Miller of Oakland. Califor nia left Monday for his home after visiting at the Russell Harmon home for a week. Mr. and Mrs. O. T. Knockleby of Fergus Falls. Minnesota were week end guests at the home of Dr. and Mrs. H. J. Borge. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Pittman re turned from St. Peters. Minnesota where they attended the wedding of Mrs. Pittman s brother. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Davidson are moving to Hardin this Saturday. Mr. Davidson will teach vocational agriculture in the high school there. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lien and Mrs. Russell Zimmerman are va cationing at the Black Hills and visiting relatives In North and South Dakota. Mrs. Edna Yandall of Deer Lodge is a houseguest of Mrs. Martin Mitchell and Mrs. Hattie M. Towns. Mrs. Yandall is a former Wolf Point resident. Mrs. Thorvald Jensen returned Thursday on the Empire Builder from a ten-day visit with relatives and friends at Minneapolis and Racine, Wisconsin. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sletvold and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Sletvold and family returned Saturday from a trip near Elizabeth, Minn, where they .visited relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Rathert and Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Appelgren were in attendance at the Banker's Con vention at the Yellowstone National Park June 21 through 23. Mrs. Bertha Tovey and grand daughter, Rita, of Mohall, North Dakota arrived Tuesday. They are visiting at the Pearl Harlow home. Mrs. Tovey and Mrs. Harlow are sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vartman of Richmond, California have been visiting at the George Maloy home. They left for home Tuesday. Mr. Vartman is a former Wolf Point resident. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Burnison and W. E. Burnison returned Mon day evening from Alpena, South Dakota where they had gone to attend the funeral of their uncle, W. J. Burnison. Mrs. Christine Muus accompanied her son-in-law and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beery and children to Great Falls on Thursday. She re turned with Mr. and Mrs. K. E. Voss on Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. James Terry, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hovey and Mr. and Mrs. Peyton Terry attended the housewarming party Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. James Terry, Jr. at their ranch. Mr. and Mrs. David Maltby, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Zimmerman of PoP lar, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillette and Dr. and Mrs. P. M. Feda at tended thb State Elk’s Meeting at Billings June 21 through June 29. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Walter and Mrs. May Schillinger had Sunday dinner at the home of Mrs. Schil linger's son Gene and family of Vida. They also went out to see the oil well at the Newell-Berry farm. Rex Sprague Jr. left Friday for Great Falls where he spent a couple of days visiting his brother James and family. From there he went to Butte Sunday morning where he will be inducted into the air force. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Good en tertained at a fried chicken dinner Sunday. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ahrens and son Lynn and Mr. and Mrs. John Beck. Mr. and ‘ Mrs. Forest Baker called in the evening.’ Mr. and Mrs. Helmer Grotte of Northwood, North Dakota arived Thursday for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Herman Grotte. Mr. and Mrs. Grotte have been visiting Mr. Got te’s brother, T. J. Grotte and familv of Scobey. Mrs. Earl Gardner' and Neva left Saturday noon for Washington D. C. where they will join Mr. Gardner. Mr. Gardner is employed by the Federal Bureau of Reclamation. The Gardners’ will make their home there. Those attending the State Elk’s convention at Billings last week from Wolf Point included Mr. and Mrs. Dave Maltby, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillette. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Zimmerman. Friend Rush, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hamblin. John Randall, wife and son ar rived for a visit at the Bruce Randall home Wednesday evening. Mr. Randall is here on leavc-of absence, and is employed by Morr ison and Knudson. Contractors at Ceylon, India. Mr. and Mrs. Mike M. Vukelich and son. Mickey, flew to Devils Lake. North Dakota Saturday after noon. Mrs. Vukelich and Mickey remained for a week’s visit at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Rae. Mr. Vukelich returned to Wolf Point the next day. Mrs. F. A. Jacobsen and daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Dal 6 Jacobsen of Eau Clair. Oregon. Mrs. H. C. Jacobsen is Mrs. Herb Westerhoff’s sister. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jacobsen and family of C’rcle, son and daugh ter-in-law of H. C. Jacobsens' were also present. Mrs. Herb Westerhoff’s and Mrs. H. C.
