Page Six SOUTH RIVER B a Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bradley, and two daughters, of St. Paul, are spending two weeks, at the home of Mrs. Bradley’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus Halverson. Many farm families from South Rtver attended the meeting for the Farmers Union Lumber Co. in Wolf Point Saturday at the F. U. Hall. All were happy to see their good neighbor, and cooperator, O. B. ■Horseford go back on the Board. Mrs. Clarence Dillon spent a few days in Wolf Point recently. A large crowd of friends attended the wedding of Miss Marjory Merri man, at the Wolf Point Presbyterian Church on Sunday afternoon. They also enjoyed the fine wedding ban quet held in the Merriman home That evening. Marjory is one of the young ladies of our community, of whom we are very proud. Wc unite in wishing this couple every suc cess, and much happiness. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bradley and daughters, and Mr. and Mrs. Ras mus Halversons and Mr. and Mrs. L O. Jorgenson spent Sunday even ing at the Russell Harmon home in Wolf Point. The Horsefords’. Harmons, Hal versons’ and Bob Bradley fished at Fort Peck, last week. Pauline Radke returned on Tues day from the Williston hospital, where she recently underwent a major operation. At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Penners the Bob Bradley fam ily and Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus Halversons enjoyed six o’clock dinner on Tuesday evening. Sdhwarz- I rock left Sunday morning for Seattle to visit relatives and friends | and also plan to attend the annual convention of the Lutheran Free Church. A meeting of the Anderson Local of the Farmers Union was held at the Anderson School Saturday evening, June 9th. Mrs. Jean Nich olson gave a report of the North eastern Health Council meeting held recently in Poplar. Glen Swank reported on the progress on Section H of the R. E. A. A skirt was presented by mem bers of the local and also an amus ing stunt was given by Danny Nickolson —“The Lost Sheep.’’ Among those from town attending the silver wedding anniversary celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Reinlasoder of Poplar on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hett man, Elmo Johnson and Robert Anderson.
