Dak. were Miss Joan Track, Margie Moran, Roberta Renz Maxine Renz and Loretta Azure. Mrs. Cathrine Medicine Cloud, and Joan Stafue were shopping in Wolf Point Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. John Eik of Pop lar were Wolf Point visitors. Rev. and Mrs. Willie Titus and Ruth returned Saturday from Sis seton. South Dakota. Mr. ami Mrs. Clarence Fear Bear made a trip to Elbowoods, North Dakota last week. Mrs. Rose Adams and J. Morin called at the Charley Hall farm last week. A picnic was held at the Bridge, Monday in honor of the Track girls who will attend school away from home. A delicious dinner was serv ed to about 30 friends and relatives. Miss Breta Murdock left for Browning, where she will attend school. There will be a Hot Lunch, Food Sale sponsored by the L. D. S. Re lief, to be held in the Rose Room Friday, September 7 starting' at 11:30 a.m. Everybody welcome. Mr. and Mrs. George - Shields and children, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Low Dog all of Harlem spent Labor- Day in Wolf Point. Mr. Shields is employed at Fort Belknap A gency. Former Poplarite Dies In Oregon Funeral services for William Bain, 89. Pioneer Poplar elevator and feed mill operator, were conducted Friday at Albany, Oregon. He lived in Poplar for several years from 1914 to 1918 where he built and operated a grain elevator and feed mill. He was founder of the Albany state bank, one time city council member, prominent in business, civic and fraternal circles for many years at Albany. His son. Dr. Lyle Bain, is mayor of Albany. Another son, Clay (Gob) Bain is well known in both Poplar and Wolf Point. He is survived by his wife, two sons, and two daughters. READ THE CLASSIFIEDS Will Sew For Trinity Hospital The V. F.
