Mr. and Mrs. William Halvorson of Poplar were visitors in town on Sunday at the home of,Mr. and Mrs. Ole Moen. Mrs. Marie Johnson of Wolf Point spent the week-end in town with her son Keith, and mother, Mrs. Ole Moen. William Murray left during the week-end by train for Bozeman where he plans to enroll in college as freshman. Miss Ardith Von Ruden began working part-time clerking in Lien’s Store on Saturday's and after school hours. A telephone has been installed in the residence of Coach and Mrs. Howard Voiles recently. The num ber is 777-1-2. Mr. and Mrs. George Shanks and bovs, Mrs. Everett Shanks and children were visitors in Culbertson on Sunday evening. Shoppers in from the Anderson Community on Wednesday includ ed Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Kuehnle and Mrs. Elmer Dahlberg. Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Johnson were visitors on Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Quinto Ruf fatto on the southside. Mr. and Mrs. Charles “Shorty” Bradford and family of Culbertson were Sunday visitors in town at the George Shanks home. Mrs. Giovanni Ruffatto has been dismissed recently from the Sid ney Hospital and is convelascing at her home on the southside. Mr. and Mrs. R. Voiles of Cut bank stopped in town last week for a brier visit with his brother. Howard Voiles, and family. Ame Olson returned during the week-end .from Spdkdne. Washing ton. Mrs. Olson is teaching school this year very close to Spokane. Miss Maxine Candee of the south side spent a couple days in . town at ihe home of her sister and bro ther-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Fisher. Friends here received word from Bell, California, recently of the birth of a 9 lb. 3 oz. baby of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Waggoner (nee Evelvn Lynd), born September 2, 1951. Holcomb left early Tuesday morning for his home in Chickasha. Oklahoma, after spend ing the past month and more here doing survey work north of Brock ton. Mrs. Clara Smith of the south side was in town on Wednesday to attend the Lutheran W. M. F. and was an overnight guest at the home of her son, Edward Smith, and wife. The schedule for the Catholic church is as follows: Mass, every Ist and third Sunday of each month at 9 am. Sunday School at 10 am each Sunday at the home of Mrs. Barbara Gilligan. Word has been received in town that Mrs. A. M. Lodmell of Choteau is now in the Deaconess Hospital Room No. 404. Great Falls, with a serious hip injury. Visitors last week at the home of Supt. and Mrs. Mathew Von Ruden were her .relatives from North Dakota. They included her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Whipple of Bowdon, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Whipple and . children of Fessenden. Mr. Chas. Whipple is a brother of Mrs. Von Ruden’s.
