Page Eight SOUTH CULBERTSON A School Board meeting was held at the Birch home Monday night. Cap and Tom Hodges hauled hay Tuesday. Bennie Antonson took his daugh ter, Louise, to Culbertson Tuesday for her music lesson. Mr. and Mrs. Don Birch and children went to Sidney Wednes day. Mrs. K. R. Hill and boys were in Culbertson Wednesday. Mrs. Stan Patch and Children were dinner guests at the Sam Antonson home Friday. The Johnson Brothers went to Culbertson Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Mas Sin and son also Mrs. Massin were over night guests at the Maynard Cell mer home. A large crowd gathered at the Andes schoolhouse Sunday for a potluck dinner honoring the 25th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Peterson. Thosfe^ht tending from this community were Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Antonson and children also Mr. and Mrs. Don Birch, and children. A large crowd and a very good time were report ed. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mercer and children. Wendell Patch, also Mr. and Mrs. Joe Christensen and chil dren were supper guests at the Stan Patch home Sunday. Cap Hodges called at the Bennie Antonson home Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Patch and children went to Sidney Monday. While there, they called upon Sally Tru. a one-time resdient of this community and had dinner with her. They also stopped at the Tom Gibbs home to see Mrs. Gibbs, who is confined to her bed with illness. Maynard Cellmer was in Culbert son on business Tuesday. Miss Louise Antonson participat ' ed in a piano recital of Mrs. Dry dan’s class Monday night. The Stan Patches were evening callers at Tom Hodges home Tues day night. Bill. Ochs visited the Pete John sons Wednesday. Cap Hodges was in town on business Wednesday. Bennie Antonson was in Sidney Thursday on business. The Johnson Brothers were cal ers in Culbertson Thursday, t Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Antonson and children also visited in Cui- 1 bertson that day. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Patch finish- I ed their icing Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Don Birch and children went to Culbertson Fri day. Those attending the masquerade from here were: Mr. and Mrs. Ben nie Antonson and children, Mr/ and Mrs. K. R. Hill, Mr. and Mrs. Don Birch, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Patch, Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Cell mer, the Johnson boys. Cap Hod ges and Wilma Palmer. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Patch were very proud and surprised to win first prize for their Indian costumes. * Mr. and Mrs. Stan Patqh and children were Sunday guests at the Ira Palmer home. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Massin were called upon the Maynard Cellmers Sunday. Little Mickey Massin had spent Saturday night at the Cell mer home. Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Antonson and children visited in the Andes Community Sunday. WEST RESERVATION H K * Punchy Knorr of Sand Point Idaho, is visiting friends and rela tives in this vicinity for few days. Mrs. Bob Dumont and Mrs. Na than Dumon went to Poplar on business Thursday. They also vis ited at the Otto Cantrell home. Among visitors In Wolf Point last week were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cox of Oswego. — Mrs. Tena Vasser has returned 'from Spokane. Wash., after spend ing five months’ there. A rummage sale will be held at the Rose Room Saturday by Mrs. Phillips of Poplar. Lunch will be sold by the Wolf Point Chanipawa Ladies Aid. Rev. Willie Titus. Maurice Big Horn and Steven Spider of Fort Kipp have gone to Fort Totten to visit different churches there. Kenneth Kennedy of Poplar vis ited relatives in Wolf Point last week. Reginald Owens has returned home from the Poplar hospital. He is walking around on crutches. Mrs. Sarah Weeks of Old Town went to Poplar to visit her mother, Mrs. Bessie Brown. Cleveland Owens. Sr., was here Wednesday. Some time ago. we described the Red Cross Home Nursing Course in this column. We hope that some of our young women have enrolled by this time. 'Mr. and Mrs. Ted Manning of Chelsea went to Wolf Point Mon day. Wally Yellowrobe left for Hot Springs. South Dakota, Friday to take treatments. Fred Becker was elected treasurer and Leland P. Cade, secretary, of the board. The employment of Mrs. Richard Thomas as office secretary was approved. Eleven board members attended the meeting. They represented Daw son, Garfield. McCone, Prairie and Richland Counties, Montana also McKenzie County, North Dakota. President of the board is C. R. Theissen of Lambert.
