Bauer, who entered naval service January 21, is taking recruit training at the U. S. Naval Training Center in San Diego. California. He is. the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Bauer of Wolf Point. The initial training at San Die go includes instruction in seaman ship, fire-fighting, gunnery, signal ing and other fields. Upon completion of the 11- week training period, graduates are assigned to Navy shore stations, duty stations with fleet or sent to advanced technical training schools. Youth For Christ Rally Features Three Evangelists A team of three musical evan gelists, ’ The King’s Messengers”, will appear at a Youth for Christ rally to be conducted Friday even ts- M a r £ h 21, in the Wolf Point High School auditorium. Members of the team are Mr. and Mrs Royall Lindquist and Edsel Lindquist, who are featured in vocal and instrumental numbers. Musical combinations of this group include banjo, guitar, man dola and accordion solos, contralto solos and mixed vocal trio selec tions. Edsel Lindquist, one of the out standing Christian accordionists of today, plays an electronically amplified accordion and draws cartoons for the young people Members of the public are cord ially invited to attend this rally by the A outh for Christ director. Scouts Receive Camping Season Schedule For ’52 Girl Scouts of Wolf Point re ceived word this week that their 1952 Camping Season at the Fort Peck Lake will extend from July 28 to August 1. _ Last summer, 85 Girl Scouts from Culbertson, Scobey, Flaxville, Fra zer and Wolf Point attended the first camping season at Pines Youth Camp. Personnel consisted of a director, nurse and two counselors from each community represented at the camp. The Wolf Point Girl Scout camp committee for 1952 will be appoint ed following an election of officers next month. The camp fee of $1 50 per day will be charged both Scouts and adults again this year.
