NEWS FROM THE VIDA VICINITY By Mrs. Frank Presser Mr. and Mrs. Sig Jensen left last week for Phoenix, Arizona to spend the winter months. George Louden moved his trailer house to the local trailer court while he is working in our com munity. Mrs. Henry Finkbeiner visited the Jacob Schlepps on Tuesday while Henry was employed as car penter. Glendive visitors Wednesday were the Clarence Browns, Mrs. Deane Nefzger, also Mrs. Boyd’ Nefzger. Odd Lunde completed his base ment last week and plans to move his house on this week. Mr. and Mrs. John Hintz left this week for their home in Missoula after an extended visit at the farm. Mrs. Alex Boysum called on Mrs. Matt Oshanich on Wednesday after noon. The Clarence Laubachs and Rudy Berreth were Wednesday evening callers at the Henry Finkbeiner home. The Paul Hubers returned re cently from a vacation trip to lowa. Oscar Nesvig, of Wibaux, was transacting business at Vida on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Gil Gilbertson, also Mr. and Mrs. Bud Hofland went deer hunting south of Miles City on Thursday. Mrs. Henry Heppner, of Lan dusky.. Mont., also Mrs. Ortman and daughter, Mrs. Baise, of Richey, were Thursday evening callers at the A. M. Erickson home. Mrs. Dale Waters, Mrs . Leo Kahm, and the former Nellie Carl son and children, of Seattle, Wash ington, were Thursday afternoon callers at the Bud Erickson home. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Schllllnger, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hintz, also Mr. and Mrs. Boots Erickson were guests at a Hallowe’en party Fri day evening at the Stanley Jensen home. Hallowe’en parties were enjoyed at both the Wolf Creek and Vida schools on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Art Schock were Miles City visitors on Friday. The Clyde Schillingers of Billings also came for the funeral. Clarence and George Laubach I made a trip to Columbia Falls, Montana, over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nicolio visited the Johnny Nicolios in Wolf Point Friday afternoon. A large crowd from this vicinity attended the chicken supper an I bazaar at Immanuel Lutheran church on Saturday evening. Mrs. Olive Thornburg, of Wolf Point, was a weekend guest of the Bob Nefzgers. Mr. ana Mrs. Alex Boysun and children, also Joyce Presser attend ed the show in Wolf Point Saturday evening. Wesley Seebart arrived Sunday from Alaska and is visiting at the home of his brother. Fred Seebart. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Wanderaas who were mar ried recently at Kansas City. They arrived home last week.
