Page Ten South Culbertson Mrs. Bennie Antonson and Eva Cellmer spent Monday and Tues day cleaning and dusting the schoolhouse before school .starts next Monday. Peter Johnson was a caller Tues day afternoon at the Sam Anton sons. Mr. and Mrs. Don Birch were in Williston cn business Tuesday. Maynard Cellmer and Bennie Antonson and children were call ers in Culbertson on Tuesday. The Johnson, brothers were fix ing fence up the creek on Tuesday. Cap Hodges hauled his Fordson tractor to Fairview for a little repair work on Thursday. The Johnson brothers were in Culbertson on business Thursday^ Mr. Bennie Antonson took Sarff' Antonson to Culbertson shopping ■on Friday. The Antonson children spent Friday with the Patch children. Cap Hodges dehorned calves on Friday. Orin Patch was a caller in Sid ney and Culbertson on Friday. He had supper with his brother. Stan, and family and later in the evening they attended the show in Culbertson. Kenneth and Wendell Hill were in Sidney or. Saturday tc the sheep sale. NOTICE FOB BIDS Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City Council of the City of Wolf Point, Montana at the officd of the City Clerk until 8:00 P. M., April 13, 1953 for furnishing materials and construction of a swimming pool on lots 1 and 2, Block 45, First Ad dition to Wolf Point, Montana as per plans and specifications on file at the City Clerk’s Office. Bids will be accepted on all or any combination of items as listed below. Completion of all items to be not later than June 15, 1953. ITEM X Remove and dispose of approxi mately 1800 cubic yards of excava tion to lines as staked. Furnish and place approximate ly 485 cubic yards of pit run gra vel backfill for cushion in proposed pool and to partially fill pool now in place. ITEM H Furnish forms to make continu ous pour of 280 feet of 10 inch concrete wall from 5 to 10 feet tn depth. Furnish, place and tie 2710 feet of reinforcing steel. Furn ish and pour approximately 170 cubic yards of premixed concrete for walls and floor of new pool, furnish and install expansion strips in floor. Furnish and pour approximately 30 cubic yards of premixed con crete for floor in old pool. Furnish and pour approximately 10 cubic yards of premixed con crete for sidewalks. Furnish and install 280 feet of 2” galvanized pipe and 5 galvanized ladders. ITEM HI Furnish and lay in place 510 feet of 6” transite water pipe equipped with necessary connections which include 2-6” T's, 1-4” T and 2-6” ells and shutoff valve. 90 feet of 4 inch galvanized pipe with 3/4” shutoff valves, 100 feet of 2” gal vanized pipe with 1-shutoff valve. Extend present drain in old pool 5 feet to new floor level. Furnish and place new drain in proposed pool and connect to sew er at east end of the proposed pool using 6” line approximately 20 feet in length. Furnish and place 296’-4” drain tile to grade around outside wall of new pool and connect to aewer. Move 146 feet of fenee in place, reset posts in concrete. Furnish and place 340’ of 7 foot Wire mesh fence and % foot gate. Posts to be set in concrete. Plans and specifications of the proposed construction can be seen at the office of the City Clerk. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, and to accept any bid or combination of bids which the Council deems most ad vantageous to the City of Wolf Point. They are both employed at Willis ton and making their home there at present. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Patch and children were dinner guests at ♦he parental Patch home Sunday. Others there were Mr. and Mrs. Pete Ruffato and children and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Candee. Mr. and Mrs. Lenard Moen and children were Sunday callers at the K. R. Hills. Mr. and Mrs. Otis Nelson and children of Culbertson were Sun day callers at the Don Birches. „ The children of Riverview school were excited and anxious to start school Monday as Mrs. Don Birch is going to open summer school this year and substitute until the other teacher is available.
