RUTH ZUCK HONORED WITH FAMILY DINNER Mrs. Ruth Zuck, Poplar, was hon ored at a family dinner held in the Bushaw Case, Poplar, last Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Zuek’s three sons and their families were together for the first time in 20 years. Three of Mrs. Zuek’s grandsons were un able to be present. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Zuck and sons. Bobby, Alan and Byron, Mineral Bench, Mr. and Mrs Leo Zuck. Billings and Mr. and MrsWtaflin 'Zuck and son Greg, WilmingtonT'Del. LOFTUS COMPLETES TRAINING PROGRAM IN CHICAGO Milton O. Loftus, Wolf Point, re cently completed specialized train ing in Diesel and Motor tune-up, according to announcement receiv ed from Chicago. BUSHMAN HONORED AT RECREATION HALL A pink ana blue shower honor ing Mrs. John Bushman last Fri day evening was held at the North Side Recreation hall. The guests enjoyed playing bingo throughout the evening and prizes were given. The guest of honor received many beautiful gifts for the baby-to-be. The hostesses Mrs. Wayne Parsley and Mrs. Francis Bushman served a luncheon to the twenty gues’s present. JOYCE JACKLEY HOLDS PARTY ON FIFTH BIRTHDAY Joyce Jacktey, celebrated her fifth birthday at a party held at the Phil Jackley home, 532 Dayton. Mrs. Elwin Iwen assisted Mrs. Jack ley in serving ice cream and cake to the little guests. The guests en joyed games and received favors. Those helping Joyce celebrate were Jackie and Candy Kalien, Carol Hudiburgh, Cathie and Nancy Ault, Janet Bartel. Phyllis and Sharon Iwen, Pamela Jensen and Vivian and Lyla Schultz. Have Dinner In Glasgow The Wolf Point telephone oper ators enjoyed a chicken dinner at Glasgow last Wednesday evening along with nine operators from the Glasgow exchange. This group plans another get-together in Wolf Point this summer. Those able to attend from Wolf Point were Mrs. Lester Eck, Mrs. Gordon Koenig. Mrs. Donald Jensen, Miss Carol Pilgrim, Miss Frances Hentges, Miss Denyse Pilgrim, Miss Mary Lee Weber and Mr. and Mrs. Louie De.- laney. Legion Gives Thanks The American Legion Auxiliary wishes to take this opportunity 'to thank the people of Wolf Point and surrounding communities for their part in making their annual Poppy Sale a successful one this year. The poppies sold amounted to $240. Returns from Visit Mr. and Mrs. John Stensland re turned last Wednesday from a visit with Mr. Stensland's mother, Mrs. Asborg Stensland at Edmore, N. D. IVAN BUSHMAN HONORED AT SHERMAN Mrs. Ivan Bushman was honored at a pink and blue shower held in the banquet room at the Hotel Sherman last week. The guests en joyed playing whist and high was won by Mrs. Francis Bushman and low was won by Mrs. John Bush man. The hostesses Mrs. Thorvald Jensen, Mrs. G. S. Snell and Mrs. Ray Kelberer served a delicious lunch to twenty-eight guests. Mrs. Bushman received many beautiful gifts for the baby-to-be. WORD RECEIVED OF KEITH THOMAS’ RECENT MARRIAGE Word has been received of the marriage of Keith Alm Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. V. G. Thomas who now reside in La Grande, Or., to Mariel Janis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mitas H. Biddick, Valle jo, Calif. They were married in Valleyjo May 14. Keith is still in the navy but they will be at home at 210 Rainier, Vallejo, Calif. Couple Leave for Alaska Mrs. Lillian Forsness and daugh ter Shirley left Tuesday for Great Falls where they will board a plane for Fairbanks, Alaska. They will visit with Mrs. Forsness’ daughter June and family, Mr. and Mrs. M. R. McEntire. They plan to be gone a month. They were accomprnied to Great Falls by Bob Rusche. Mrs. Mack Honored MrS. E. A. Mack Sr. was an hon ored guest at a coffee party held last Wednesday afternoon at the Guy Miller home. Other guests present were Mrs. F. A. Asbury, Mrs. Erick Mourn, Mrs. Ernest Hinkle, Mrs. Paul Nygaard, Mrs. Addie Carpenter, Mrs. Ed Mack and Mrs. Stanley Nees, Poplar. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Bearskin and Jack Roberts left Sunday morning for Livingstone, to pick up Vic’s horse “Spade" where he had been left since last Wednes day when the boys from Bozeman had tried to bring him home. They returned Monday. Weekend guests at the Darwin Johannes apartment were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Eman and son Mich, ael, Bismarck, N. D„ Al Anderson and Mavis Simonson, Underwood. N. D., and James Eman, Bismarck, N. D. Mrs. Nannie Good, Great Falls, Mrs. Francis Watne and family, Hungry Horse and Mrs. Paul Buck ley and family, Lead, S. D., have been visiting at the George and Earl Good homes for the past week. Mrs. David Tollefson, nee Ber nice Wilhelm, was here for the graduation of Carol Peterson. Carol accompanied her back to Havre for the remainder of the school term at Northern Montana College. Bill Canavan, Laurel, is spend ing the week with his grandfather, Dr. R. E. Dunn. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Mack Sr. and son Bill left Friday morning for their home in Bremerton, Wash. Visiting In Williston and Bain ville last Saturday was Mrs. Lloyd Jensen. Mrs. Donald Jensen and Mrs. Neal Jarson. Mr. and Mrs. Nels Moen and son Douglas spent Memorial weekend visiting Mrs. Fred Pettis, Williston, and also other friends.
