Page Two GLASGOW WHS 5T04 OVER WOLF POINT LOCAL CLUB RALLIES IN NINTH SCORING THREE RUNS; CASEY GOES DISTANCE FOR WOLF POINT ON MOUND. The Wolf Point Independent base ball team dropped a close 4 to 5 decision to the Glasgow Vets in a game played at the Stampede grounds Monday. The game went scoreless for five innings. Lefty Jensen got the first Wolf Point hit in the seventh when he got a single to center. Pitcher Dennis Casey scored the first Wolf Point run. in the bottom of t£e eighth. Casey got on first on an error. He stole second base and was advanced to third when John Hubbard got a single. Felix Jensen scored Cas y with a single to left field. The top of the ninth proved dis astrous to the Wolf Point club as they allowed Glasgow three runs on two singles, a double, and two errors. The Wolf Point club ral- WE APPRECIATE YOUR ATTENDANCE! However they were unable to overcome the four run lead held by Glasgow. Felix Jensen led off the inning with a eingte Jim Burt followed with a single and Chuck Sprague hit a J round ball to shortstop forcing ensen at third. Third baseman Bill McCracken then hit a single to left field loading the bases with one out The Glasgow pitcher walked Dennis Casey letting Burt come in to score. Sprague scored on a long fly ball by Jack Rounds and Mc- Cracken scored on an overthrow at third base. Dennis Casey went the distance for Wolf Point giving up ten hits and allowing five runs on three er rors. Chuck Sprague was behind the plate for Wolf Point.
