Page Ten Vida Community YOUTH TAKEN TO GREAT FALLS AFTER BREAKING FOOT Franklin Presser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Presser, is a patient at Deacbners hospital in Great Falls. The boy suffered several broken bones in his foot Saturday when the wheel of a truck passed over his foe/ at the Clair Schillinger farm. Mr .and Mrs. Dan Sievers and the Arnie Leuenberger family were Sunday callers at the Earl Nefzger home north of Frazer. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Schilling er and daughters were Sunday aft ernoon callers at the Nels Jensen home north of Circle. Announcements have been re ceived of the arival of a baby girl at the home of Rev. and Mrs. Leland Schantz, former Vida residents, now located at Lawton, Okla. The little Miss weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. and has been named Shirley Iris. Glenn and Erlin Engen made a trip to Thief River Falls nad Wa dena, Minn., last week. Mr. and Mrs. Kieth Casterline left Saturday for the Twin Cities. The Clarence Nefzgers visited the Joe Knutson family at Froid Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Loendorf and sons were Sunday supper guests at the Clarence Brown home. The Art Mossestads ,Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Beck are salmon fishing at Kalispel this week. Mr. and Mrs. Don Nelson are staying at the Mossestad home during their absence. Mrs. Glenn Engen and Eugene were supper guests at the Edward Casterline home Thursday. The Clarence Laubachs visited at the Henry Finkbeiner home in Wolf Point Saturday. Clarence helped Henry with the shingling on their new house. Ed Schlepp helped Henry on Friday. The weather-man co-operated with the Rod and Gun Club Sun day and a large crowd of shooters from this community as well as other towns attended the Third Annual turkey shoot at the local range. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Bob Nefzger visited Mrs. Harriet McCartney who is a patient at the Circle hospital. Quite a number of young peo ple from our community are at tending the square dancing les sons in Wolf Point. The Harvey Neufelds of Wolf Point were Vida visitors on Sun day afternoon. The Stanley Jensens plan on leaving next week for Phoenix to spend the winter months. John Kwasney and Stanley Brooks drove to Saco Hot Springs the first of the week. Mrs. William Porter was a sup per guest at the Leonard Lsendorf home Wednesday evening of last week.
