FRIENDLY FARMERS The Friendly Farmers held their last meeting at Wood school Nov. 12 at 7:30. The meeting was called to order by Carl Karge. We discussed painting our com munity signs and practiced our skit for Awards Day. j Kenny Karge resigned as secre tary and Norrndh Stai was elected to replace him. The club talked about electing new leaders. Our club won quite a number of awards at Achievement Day in Culbertson last Saturday. The club put on a skit demonstrating beef judging. The Lions Club of Culbertson furnished the coffee, cocoa and ice cream. We all enjoy ed the day. The next meeting will be held Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. at the Norman Hauge home in Wolf Point. —Wil- Hard Stai. substitute reporter. BUSY BEES The Busy Bees met at Wood School Nov. 12 at 7:30. The meet ing was called to order by presi dent, Jerry Hauge. The club prac ticed modeling for a fashion show planned Saturday, Nov. 13. The next meeting will be held Saturday, Nov. 20 at the Norman Hauge home at 2 p.*m., for old and new club officers. Saturday. Nov. 13, the Busy Bees went to Culbertson for Achieve ment day. The club put on a fashion show on the clothes of oth er countries which was called the "Melting Pot." Participating were Judy Hauge, Ukrainian; Kathy Hauge, Hawaiian; Patricia Mann, German; Freda May Sethre, Nor wegian; Karen Sethre, Puritan; Joyce Nelson, Arabian; Karen Nel son, Dutch; Janice Stai, Statue of Liberty; Marlene Stai, French, and Norma Stai, Japanese. Linda Brook man was dressed as a Mexican boy. The Busy Zees won many awards. The club won a gavel for having the most points in 4-H. — Norma Stai, Reporter. PIONEERS The second meeting of the Pion eer 4-H Club was held on Nov. 6 at 7:00 at the Ruben Baerg home. The meeting was called to order by Grace Toavs, President. Our leader, John Toavs, and Mrs. Toavs gave reports from the lead ers' meeting which had been held at Scobey on the previous day. Then a discussion followed on what we were going to do at Achieve ment Day. Decisions were made who would be our leaders for the coming year.
