Four-H Club News
Northern Lights 4-H Club
The -Northern Lights 4-H club
met at the John Ediger home,
Thursday evening. June 9.
The 4-Her's discussed having a
picnic on June 23. Dave Wall was
voted assistant boys’ leader.
Ila Rauch led the group in sing-
ing.
Clary. Raymond. Jeany and Dor
thy Ediger sang a special song.
A demonstration on how to tie
different kinds of knots was giv
en by Ralph Ferdina. Special mu
sic was played on the piano by
Marilyn Ferdina.
The boys’ group discussed the
parts of a fat steer. In the girls'
group. Marilyn Ferdina had a de
monstration with kitchen utensils
showing the good and bad parts
about them. The ladies discussed
the menu of the 4-H picnic.
The hostess served lunch.
The next meeting will be at the
Herbert Rauch home.

NOTICE IS HEREBY Hl VEN by
the Council of the City of Wolf
Point. Montana ^hat the said Coun
cil will, on the 11th day of July, 1955.
at the hour of N :0o o'clock P. M.,
at its Council Chamber in the Citv
of Wolf point, Montana, sell to the
highest and best bidder for cash, elther
amortization or serial bonds of the
said Chy in the total amount of
Twenty Thousand Dollars (s2o,o<h»),
for the purpose of providing moneys
for the purchase of fire equipment.
Amortization bonds will be the
first choice and serial bonds will be
the second choice of the Council.
If amortization bonds are sold
and issued the entire issue may be
ptit into one (I) single bond or
divided into several bonds, as the
Council may determine upon at the
time of sale, both principal and inter
est to be payable in semi-annual In
stallments during a period of twenty
(20) years from the date of issue.
If .'■(•rial bonds are issued and sold
they will be twenty (20) in number
and numbered from I to 20. inclu
slve, each in the amount of One
Thousand Hollars ($1,000), and the
sum of (hie Thousand Dollars ($1,000)
of said serial bonds will become due
and payable on the first day of July,
1956. and a like amount on the same
day each year thereafter until all
such bonds are paid.
The said bonds, whether amortiza
tion or serial bonds, will bear date
as of July 1, 1955, will bear Interest
at a rate not exceeding six pet
centum per annum, payable
semi-annually, on the first day of
January and the first day of July
in each year, and those bonds is-
sued for a longer term than five (5)
years will be redeemable at the op
tion of the City on July I. 1960 and
on any Interest payment date there
after. at par and accrued interest.
Said bonds will be sold for not less
than their par value with accrued
interest to date of delivery and all
bidders must state the lowest rale
of interest at which they will pur
cha>sc the bonds at par. The Coun
cil reserves the right to reject any
and all bids and to sell said bonds
at private sale.
All bids otmr than bv and on be

Commissioners of the State of Mon
tana must be accompanied by a cer
tified cheek in the sum of Four Hun
dred Dollars (s4oh). payable to the
order of the Citv Clerk, which will
be forfeited by the successful bidder
in the event he shall fail or refuse
tn complete the purchase of said
bonds in aceordan«e witli the terms
of his bid.
All bids shall be addressed to the
Council of the City of Wolf Point.

of said City
