Bart lett, left for Tonopah, where he has opened a branch law office. Mr. Bartlett is leading attorney in sev eral important lawsuits over mining property in that place. For the past month Mr. Bartlett has been pre paring for this trip. He purchased the finest pair of mules ever raised in Nevada, also a hickory neckyoke with leather straps on either end and in the middle, and a pair of up-to-date brake-blocks, leather bound, and started off looking very happy via E. & P. R K. Eureka Sentinel. The present snowfall is the heaviest that has occurred on the Corns toe k since the winter of 18!M). The fall was almost continuous for seventy hours, depositing an average of fully three feet. The local train was blocked near the round-house for several hours to-day and the coach attached to it was brought back to the depot by the express train, which arrived forty-five minutes behind card time drawn by two locomotives, the forward one equipped with a snow-plow.
