styles we are showing, and the sales we make has given us the
right to claim we are headquarters for Clothing and Footwear.
The largest cities exhibit no newer styles.
May we not have the pleasure of a visit from you and your fam
ily '! Such a visit will undoubtedly pay you not only hi actual
cash saving, but in receiving better goods for less money than
from any other establishment.
Latest styles in Millinery, Dry floods and Cents' Furnishings.

Southern Klondike.
The Southern Klondike mines, sit
uated about nine miles south of Tono
pah, are destined at no distant day
to be one of the great producers of
this section. When capital once takes
hold of these mines they will be hard
to rival. About $2i,IM)0 worth of ore
has been shipped from one of the
mines owned by Hell & Court. There
are large ledges capped with iron on
which scarcely any work has been
done. One iron ledge on which a
shaft has been sunk alxiut twenty-five
feet shows galena and iron that car
ries $20 in gold besides the silver and
lead values. The main quartz ledge
owned by Hell & Court is over a mile
in length and from four to fourteen
feet wide, and ore from this ledge
has been shipped that carried over
800 ounces in silver and $40 in gold
per ton. About one mile from South
ern Klondike is' Eastern Klondike, a
district showing some very rich ore,
one ledge Iteing worked by Sharp &
M(Kre having produced ore that went
over 700 ounces in silver per ton.

Against . A. Turner.
Judgment was rendered in Judge
Shield's court at Sacramento on Mon
day against O. A. Turner and

chandise. Turner, it will be remem.
bered, attempted to operate the Coe
mine at this place and finished in a
disastrous manner, the whole prop
