After being in ore for 22 feet, the Belmont shaft has passed through the ore body first encoun tered at the 1060-foot point, prov ing the new vein to be fully 15 eet wide, all of which carries mill ing values. The shaft is now with in a few feet of the 1100-foot level where a station will be cut and sinking resumed. No development work will be done on the new ore T3cdy until the Belmont shaft has lieen completed from the 1100-foot i;o!nt to the surface and placed in commission, as the present equip ment is taxed to its limit handling the ore and waste from the pres ent workings. It is nevertheless " ry pleasing to know that there is an immense ore body to develop as soon as the uew equipment is in stalled, . in addition to the new one which has already proven to be one of the biggest bonanzas uncovered in recent years ta this state, and which is capable of flooding a mill "with ore twice the size of the com pany's C0-stauii plant for a long time. lofhrop-Davis Connpam mc Call in and get our prices before placing your orders elsewhere.
