S WANDER expects to leave Monday morning for Santa Rosa, Cal., to attend the fall meeting of the presbytery of Nevada, of which he Is the moderator, and to attend the annual session of the svnod of California, which will also meet at Santa Rosa. Fisk, postmuHter of San Francisco, has announced his Intention of re signing to take up the management of the interests of Anita Baldwin Mc Claughry, heiress of the late Lucky Baldwin. As postmaster of San Fran cisco Fisk received an annual com pensation of $6000. As manager of the McClanghry share of the $20, 000,000 Baldwin estate he will re ceive an annual salary of at least $10,000. "I will send in my resignation to Washington within a few days," said Fisk. FiBk flatly refused to resign when requested to do so by Postmaster General Burleson lust July. Fisk in formed his chief by telegram that his tterui of office did not expire until June 14, 1916, and that he could not be removed until that time unless charges were preferred ana proven against him'. Up to date no action in the matter had been taken by the president. Hull McClanghry, divorced husband Anita McClanghry, was lormeny 'isk's assistant, and the postmaster has been an Intimate friends of both or many years. Mrs. McClaughry's half of the es tate, which went through muc.n nuga- ion before it was settled, is valued at $10,000,000, and includes large Iw.ldlnirs and interests in southern California. It is of such a nature hat its conservation and continued growth in value requires trained busi ness management. Mrs. Mc Clanghry received an interlocutory decree of divorce from her husband. Hull McClanghry, iu Oakland last July. The suit was uncontested ami McClaugliry received a cash settle ment of $250,000 with partial custody of the two children. The other heir to the estate is Mrs. McClanghry's sister, Mrs, Clara Bald win Stocker, but Fisk will have noth ing to do with her share, his man agement Including only the holdings of Mrs. McClanghry. .
