Speaker Blaine telegraphs as follows under date of Augusta, Sept. 10, 1 A. M "To the President of the United States, Long Branch. We have carried the State for Governor Perham by more than 10,000 majority a net gain of o.ouu over last year's vote. We have carried all the Congressional Districts, the clos est by 2,000 mrjority. We have carried every county in the State, something never achieved but once before. Vie have elected every Senator and chosen more than four-hfths of the House of Representatives. Our victory is com plete and overwhelming at all points, and insures you more than 20,000 in govern oer. Here are some more particulars, show ing how tremendous was the ebb and dow of that " tidal wave." Augusta, September 10 2 p. Jt. Five Congressional Districts have been carried by the ltcpublicans. In the First District Burleigh is elected by about 2,000 maionty ; in the Secontt, 1- ry by about 4,000 ; in the Third, Blaine by about 3,500 ; in the Fourth, Hersey by ubout 4,OU0 ; and in the Filth, Hale by about 2,500. The contest in Kenuebec county. where Speaker Blaine resides, was pecul iarly animated and resulted in giving Blaine a majority in every one of the 27 towns in the county. Six of these towns usually go Democratic. And here are more of these " revolting particulars :" Portland, September 102 a. m One hundred and sixty-five towns inve 1'erham 41,041 and Kimball, W,Hii : Kb- publican majority, lU.lliy. The same towns Kst year gave Perham 3:J,((jt and Kimball, 20, GOO, being a Republican ma jority of 7,264 a republican gain this year of 2,'JJo. lhese towns cover a little mure than half the state and indicate lo, 000 majority. liEWisTON, eptelDer U. Androscoggin county, excepting two towns that have 25 Kupublicuu majority last year, gives 1'erham 4,0s0 and Kim ball, 2,5'Jl a Republican minority of 3,4W, against 2,310 last year. Two Sen ators and all the Representatives of the county are RepubLlcyuis. Among the Representatives is Nelson Dingley, Jr., of the Lewiston Journal and Speaker of the House tor two years. 1 oktland, September 10 1 a. m . Returns from 11)3 towns give Perham 4fi,073 and Kimball 35,138, which last ;ave Perham 3S,730 and Kimball 30,4i7 . Republican majority of 8,203. The towns not heard f n in gave last year Per ham l'J.ooo and Kimball 17,111 a ma- ority of 2,44 1. If this majority is in creased in proporti.n to the vote of the towns already received, Per ham will have 15,330 majority. The to tal vote will, if it is increased in propor tion be 125.000, of which Perham should have 70,405 and Kimball 55,135. Last ear the total vote was lo5,N07, of which erham had 58,285 and Kimball 47,578, scattering 34, being a majority of 10,707. In 1808 Chamlierlain (Republican) had 525 and Hillsbury (Democrat) 50,252. beiug a Republican majority of l',i,273, making the Republican net loss nearly 4,000 from that year : but the vote of 808 was the largest ever known, being 131,777, or 0,000 more than it will proba bly be this year, and this reduction of the aggregate would decrease the majority about 1,000, so that the net loss will f airly be 3:000 from 108. In the First Congressional District, for merly Lyneh's, the vote for Governor stands iu 34 towns, Perham 11,71)7 and Kimball 10,084, being a Republican eaiu over 1871 of 040. Burleigh's vote runs ahead of that for Governor, and his ma jority will probably le 1,80!) against 1,400 for Lynch. In the Fifth District 45 towns give Terham 7,903 and Kimball 5,037, a Republican gain of 1,305 over 1871. Hale's vote is ahead of this, and his majority will probably reach 2,000 against 1,210 in 1870. TheSecond Third and Fourth Districts will be carried by the Republicans, making the State unan imously Republican. No returns for Representatives, but the complexion of House is judged by the general result. Portland, Sept. 10 1 30 a. m. Reports from twelve additional towns iu Hancock, Washington and Aroostook counties give Perham 1,414 and Kimball, 1,100, being a Republican majority of 224 against 130 last year, the same towns showing a larger Republican gain than was estimated for the whole State. Two hundred and ten towns and cities give Perham 48,387 and Kimball 36,328 a Republican majority of 12.059. Tho saine towns gave Perham 30,048 and Kim Mill 31,540, being a Republican net gain'rom 1871 of 3,057.
