Close to half a million dollars' worth of Lincoln highway contracts, sched ulid for completion this year, have been delayed through this condition. The labor situation in the west is bet terrng, however, and it is expected that no less than a million dollars' worth of Improvements will be under way on tile Lincoln highway in Ne vada in 1921. Already the bed of the notorious Fallon sink in western Ne vada has b.-en bridged with a magni ficent road, graded feet above the level of tht Hat.
