The Board of Trustees of Carson Citv do ordain : Section 1. Anv iierson keeping a dog or dogs within the limits of Carson City shall procure from the City Marshal a tag for each dog for which he or she shall pay a yearly license as follows: For each male dog the sum of twi dollars, and for each female dog the sum of three dollars and shall be entitled to a receipt therefor. Section 2. It shall be the duty of the Citv Clerk to pro cure at the expense of the City and deluer to the City- Marshal such number of suitable tags as mav be required. taking his receipt therefor. Said tags shall be disj osed of by said City Marshal m tne manner hereinafter provided, lie shall make out and submit to the Board of Trustees at least once in each quarter year, and at anv time when said Board may require it, a verified statement of his re ceipts from the sale of dog tags, showing the amount v' ' out md retained by him for fees, as he- i nf p aeJ, and the amount paid into the t'Tos-!'- Section 3. The City Assessor of Carson Citv shall annu ally assess all taxable iiroperty of the inhabitants of said city, cituate and being in said city, for city taxation, at the same time and in the same manner he assesses said roiiertv for State and countv taxation. He shall not make a separate Assessment Roll of such assessment, but hall place and extend the same upon tne Assessment noil made for State and county taxation by him. Section 2. The Citv Assessor of said City shall receive an animal salary of one hundred dollars, in United States rold coin, which shall, be in full for all services rendered by him to said city as such officer.
