The Board of Trustees of Carson City do ordain : Section 1. Any jierson keeping a dog or dogs within the limits of Carson City shall procure from the City Marshal a tag for each dog for which he or she shall pay a x early license as follows: For each male dog the sum of tvv. dollars, and for each female dog the sum of thre dollars and shall be entitled to a receipt therefor. Section 2. It shall be the duty of the City Clerk to pro cure at the expense of the City and deliver to the City Marshal such number of suitable tags as may be required, taking his receipt therefor. Said tags shall 'he dis os.-d of bv said City Marshal in the manner hereinafter provided. He shall make out and submit to the Board of Trustees at leant once in each quarter year, and at any time when said Beard may require it, a verified statement of his re ceipt from the sale of dog tags, showing the amount o-: ' out ind retained by him for fees, as he- i j'f p . , ae.l, and the amount paid into the tns'i" Section 3.
