The Board of Trustees of Carson City do ordain:
Section 1. Section 3 of Ordinine No. M is hereby
amended to read an fullows: Section 3. Any person, firm
or corporation hh.e duly it shall be under the miiire
inenis of this Ordinance to taKe out a license, who shall
fail so to do at the time required, shall pay as a penalty of
such delay ten per cent, additional to the original amount,
ami shall he liable to a civil action fur tne recovery thereof,
with coots; and to a criminal action, wherein, on convic
tion, he she or they shall be fined not exceeding fifty dob
lars in United 'tates gold coin, and shall pay tlie costs ot
the action, for which costs and fine execution may be is
sued as in civil eaes; or sliall be imprisoned in the city
jail not more tri days, or punished by both such fine and
imprisonment, aa tlie Court shall adjudge.

Upon reading and filing the petition of Alexander Lejiort.
in the above entitled matter, praying that a decree be made
authorizing aud direct uy th executor of the last wiU and
testament of said deceased to convey to the said Alexander
Leport certain real estate, to wit : Lots seven (7) and ten
(10) in block forty-eight (48) of Sears, Thompson A Sears'
division of Carson City, Nevada, and that a day of a regu
lar term of said Court be appointed for the hearing o( said
petition, and that due and legal notice of the pendency of
said petition and of the hearing thereof be given accord
ing to law, aud it appearing therefrom that a proper cause
therefor exists,, it is hereby ordered that SATXTRDAY,
JULY 7th, 1877, a day of a regular term, to wit: of the
June, A. D. 1877, term of this Court, at the Court-room
of this Court in arson City, at 10 A. a. of said day, be
appointed as the time and place of the hearing of said pe
tition; when and where all persons interested in said es
tate may apar in the manner prescrilied by law and con
test said petition, and that a copy of this order be pub.
Ushed at least once a week for four successive weeks before
said hearing in the Moknino Appeal, a newspaper pub
lished in Ormsby county, Nevada.
