Senator Hackenburg, of North uui rland county, who believes that e Judges of the courts of this ate hhould be relieved of tho inl ying duty of considering and dis cing of applications for licenses manufacture and sell vinous, irituous, malt and brewed liquors, ii in his possession a bill which oposes the establishment of a enso court to consist of ten per ns and to be appointed by the vernor sixty days from the pass- bo of tho act. Tho introduct ion of aator Ilackenburg's measure will contingent on tho encouragement receives from his fellow members the Senate. The bill virtually requires that e members of the proposed court all be Republicans and five Demo ats. Two shall be appointed for o years, two for four, two for Bix, f o for eight and two for ten years. i the appointments for each of C'Be terms both the great political krtios shall be recognized. On the piration of the term of any one of ese Judges his successor shall be pointed for ten years, so that two the Judges shall be choson every kond year. In tho event of any pnny the Governor is directed fill it by the appointment of a per il of the same political faith to be weeded. No member of the court .o bus served a full term of ten ars shall be eligible to reappoint- nt. Tbe bill divides the Stato into enty-four districts, five of which ill be in Philadelphia. The dis- d in which Snyder county would placed is tho lIth, corresponding our Congressional district. Kach tbe Judges of tho Liconso Court ill receive $5il(K) u year in addition the payment of theiructuul travel ' I'Xpenses. Tbe court is required to meet in Trisburg each year on the liist "inlay in Jauuary, April and Oc Vr, ut which tho President bhall itfii tho Judges to each of the dis- U in which licenses aro to be ait i'd during tho threo mouths t succeeding tho meeting ut iih the assignments are made, e Judges shall exercise all the ties and powers iii relation to up. utions for hcenso heretofore ex itd by tho Courts of Quarter What the merits of tho measure p wo fail to soo unions it lies in tho creating of 10 fat offices to that many lawyers. Throughout the rural districts o Pennsylvania the judges are not ever-crowded with work. In Snyder county the license court continues but one day. In the cities whero there is moio work, there seems to bn plenty of judges. If there ate nny advantages to be gained by the people of Snyder county wo fail to see it. If Senator Hackenburg cnntxplain to the vot ers of Snyder county the advantages of this measure, the columns of the Post ore nt his disposal. Wo be lieve it to be a dangerous precedent to hand over the liquor license grant ing power of the cntiro stato to a monopoly of 10 men. There will bo live cclip vs during 1895, three of tho sun and two of the moon. Of these only two aro visible in this country, a total eclipse of the moon March 10 and a total eclipse of iho moon September 3. For Sale. Valuable House and lot for sale. Everybody is interested in getting bargains, and what is there in life more important to feel and know that you arc getting the most for your money, than in the matter of health I MR. W.J. BROWN, of LAW RENCEV.ILLE, Tioga Co., Ta., got a decided bargain when he decided to use 0 sSrs fopimwLJ Tho Kind that Cures and we think you will agree with us when you hear his story. For to years Rheumatism had tortured him. Arms and legs all out of shape ; and for two years was fed with a spoon like u baby. To walk was simply an impossibil ity. His flesh left him; his weight falling from 155 to 75 pounds. It was Rheumatism to be sure ; but it was Impurity of the Blood all the same. As a climax, Eczema appeared; some of the impurities thus forcing their way to the surface. For this he took DANA'S, knowing its repu tation as a blood purifier. The Rheumatism his physician assured him was incurable, what was the result? Not only did the Eczema leave him, but 44 1 can now walk without the aid of crutches or, cane." 800 that you got DANA'S. $ IX Chamhtr Suits. Look at the 111. Parlor Suits. Look at tlieiu.
