Walter 'Chad wick, who haa been at
tending tbe Randolph High school, came
borne laat Thursday sick. A doctor waa
called, he had a very sore throat and con-
aulerable fever and there was some
alarm, but he ia convalescing.
Mr. and Mm. Julius Martin, Frank
Bondro and Mr. and Mrs. John Cooper of
Itighgate are visiting their sons and
brothers, Joseph and George Bondro.
Mr. and Mrs. Cooper were married In
Higbgate Monday 'mornfng and came
here on their wedding Journey.
Mrs. Susan Dlmick has had cataracts
growing on botb eyes tor some time and
she waa nearly blind. Bhe went to tbe
sanatorium and Dr. Twitcbell of Burling
ton removed the cataract from one eve;
tbe other had not ripened sufficiently for
an operation. 8be returned home and it
ia believed that th operation will prove
successful. Bhe baa to keep the eye band
aged yet,
W. L flebard and wife took advantage
of tbe Normal vacation to take a vacation
and rest that tbey needed. Tbey started
Bunday for Derby, Conn., andwill make
their son, Guy, a visit there. Tbey then
exoect to go to Lunenburg, Mass., and
spend Thanksgiving with their daugh
ter, Maud, and return home the last ot

last week. It was removed by a physi
