Hunter, general passenger ajrent. Train No. 1 will be made up in Fort Worth and will leave the Texas & Pacific passenger station at 8 p. m. and arrived in Sweet- water the next morning at f o'clock. This train will connect! with the Santa Feat Sweetwater, giving direct service to Post City, Lubbock, Plain view and all Staked Plains points on the, Santa Fe and its connecting! lines. The Orient will change its time so that its train will leave Sweet water at 5:30 a. m. and arrive at San Angelo at 8:30 a. m. Re turning from San Angelo the train will leave San Angelo at 7 !p. m. and arrive in Fort Worth Butterfield in a protracted meet ing near that town. He will be absent r.ext Sunday from his pulpit. Mrs. Rex Lotspeich, of Crosby ton visited at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Jor dan at this place last week and the first of this. C. K. McCabe, one mile east of Abernathy, is building a silo of M0 tons capacity. This mam moth "fireless cooker" is 31 feet in diameter and t() feet high. It is a Perfection Metal Silo, and is said to be the largest in Texas. W. T. Moreland is building a 3K) ton silo; P. L. Wimberly is building one that will hold IW tons: Libert Overton has pur chased a silo of 318 tonscapanty; L. Hardy and Lutrick Pros, have one each, with capacities of and 3(H) tons, respectively: J. H. Hardy is building two silos having a capacity of lit'if) and 318 tons each: John Petit is putting up a silo of C1S tons capacity. All of these parties live in the neigborhood of Abernathy.
