K. L. Woodley, a prominent
real estate man of Shamrock, is in
the city on business. Mr. Wood-
ley was tormerly m business here
and is a pleasant witness to the
growth of the town.
Mrs. P. A. Worley, whose ranch
is twenty-five miles west of the city,
brought to the city yesterday a
splendid specimen of the Silver
Skin onion raised on the place, and
wnicn weigned over a pound. This
sort of vegetable is one of the con
stantly occurring proofs that the
rannancue will raise anything.
A fire occurred at Alanreed in
which a man was insured for
$2400, but has not collected his in-
suronce. He was insured in a
"wildcat" company. We do not
