An Ordinance pertaining to Fire Es capes : He it Ordained by tho City Council of the City of Waco. Seotion I. That tho owners or lessees of all hotels, boarding houses, tenement house?, factories and stoer houses over two stories high, and all theatres and opera houses, in the oity of Waoo, are hereby required to provide tho came with good and suitable fire escapes amply suffioiont to furnish means of sate egress to all inmates in ciso ol fire. See. II. Hereafter the city engi neer shall issue no permits fo- build ings mentioned in section one of this ordinanco unless such fire escapes are provided for in tho plans and tpeoifi cations. It is hereby mado unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to hereafter erect any of said bjildings in the city of Waco without pro viding tho same witu such fire escapes Sec. 111.
