flight procured another horse about
four miles from the city from a farm

Tho officers are still on his track.
Late this afternoon the man had
not been arrested and tho impres

Mr. L, A. Harper died last night
at his res donoe, Xj, 821 South
Eleventh street, of typhoid fever,
having been conliued to his room
for four weeks.
Mr. Harper had been in Texas
four years, and Waves a wife and
one child to mourn his death.
The funeral services took place
this morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. J.
Wood Stone officiating. Interment
at First Stroet cemetery.
