The tenants of Waco keep up
the town. How many of theue
owners of these brick blocks 3nd
stores ever have done anything for
Waco except to build more stores
and collect more rents? How many
landlords in Waco ever patronize
the merchants and tenants who pay
them their big rents?
We ask every tenant in Waco
three questions:
1. Who owns your house?
j. Does he over buy from you or
patronize you in any way?
;. Does your landlord ever give
or do anything to build up Waco or
make it possible for you to pay your
rents.
Wo occupy a building belonging
to two of the richest men in Waco.
One of them has been generally lib
eral to help in every good work; if
the other and the richer one has
has ever given a dollar I have never
heard of it. One thing is certain,
our fourth year will soon bo out,
aud noither of my landlords have

priced one dollar's worth of goods
from us, and we cannot call to mind
any other two men in Waco vsho
