THE METHODIST REVIVAL
What is declared to have been one
of the most successful revival in the
history of the Methodist church for
many years was brought to a close
last night when the after service was
concluded with the old hymn of
thanksgiving, "Praise God fromHVborn
All Blessings Flow." The meeting was
one of two weeks' duration and full of
interest from the beginning. Larger
crowds were in attendance during the
week days and the capacity of the
Methodist church was on several oc
casions taxed almost to its limit. The
visible results have been between
seventy-five and eighty conversions
and reclamations, and to date forty
one applications for church member

of these will go to the Presbyterian
church, one to the Baptist and the rest
to the Methodist.

few children's services successfully
conducted by Rev. A. C. fisher, of

this department of the work Rev. and
Mrs. Fisher proved to be wonderfully
successful. The congregational singing
was the best ever heard in the Meth
odist church and .Mr. Fisher's solos
and duets with his wife won the audi
ences from the beginning. As a choir
accompanist Mrs. Fi3her's superior
has never appeared In Bryan, and the
same may be said of Mr. Fisher as a
gospel singer. He has a tenor voice
of great tenderness and charm, and
to hear him is to be helped and up
lifted. The pastor. Rev. Glenn Flinn, In
speaking of the results of the meeting
declared them most gratifying and
said that from the many expressions
received from his leading people he
believes that his church is in the be
ginning of a forward movement be
