Dr. T. C. Bittle of College Station officiating. The reception hall and parlor were decorated with palms, ferns and cut fliwers. The bride wore an exquisite gown of mouselinde r-oieover white silk, and carried a loiuet of white carnations. Her traveling dress was of green broadcloth. After the ceremony, iced refresh ments were served on tray, borne by little Misses Lmise Harris, Pauline Webb and Ituby Connelly. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Hattie Trent and a bister of Mrs. W. P. Connelly. Lovely in person and character, and possessing many accomplishments, she is greatly be loved by friends in this and other citits of the state. Numerous and handsome pres ents were received from friends in Bryan and other cities, includ ing Clarendon, Kerrville and Aus tin. Mr. Burney is a well known and successful young business and cat tleman of Kerviile. He gradu ate.! from the A. and M. Col lege of Texas as captain of Com pany 'B" in 1SW. Gentlemanly, generous hearted and manly, he is a general favorite with all who know him and his friends are legion.
