Denison, dated may-Hth states
that Capt, Lee, commanding the
post of Fort Griffin, Texas,
with a party of forty soldiers

ot the post of Griffin, 011 the
4th inst., killed four and cap
tured six sqnawe, 69 'horses, 12
lodges and a quantity of sup
