She was shot m the head four times by a hors trader named George Martin. Mrs. Eosana Matthews and two boys were thrown from a wagon at Big Springs Monday and Mrs. Matthews was instantly killed and the two boys badly bruised. It is generally understood that work on the Waco, Lampasas and Lhino railroad will be discontinued for the next thirty days. The cause of discontinuance is unknown. Alberisto Taylor, the supposed leader of the Brownsville train rob bers, was captured at his home near Bef ugio Sunday. He is a bad Mexi can and iB wanted in Galiad county for horse stealing. The house will cost in the neighborhood of fifteen hundred dollars when com pleted. Two white boys, Willie Morz- low and Willie Pressler and a color ed boy, Sonny Beady, were arrested at Galveston Monday for carrying on a system of burglary that has baffled the police for .eoine time.
