Will begin drilling for another oil well in the next few days., This company has a small oil well and have to blow it, there fore they drilled in their section for a big gasser in order to have their own fuel. The Dallas-Caddo Oil Co. have started to work again after be ing closed down on account of water. They now have plenty of water and resumed their drill ing. Austin, Texas.- The attorney general's department lias fur nished an opinion to R. E. Brat ton county judge of Tarrant county, wherein it is held that regular election judges appoin ted by county commissioners for regular elections cannot serve on the statewide prohibition elec tion to be held next July; that such judges are elegible, but they must be appointed for that special purjxise. It is also hold that under the amendment to the Terrel elec tion law passed by the last legis lature, the county judge must also appoint judges and two clerks and two supervisors. Under the general election there are four judges and four clerks, but under today's ruling there can be only two judges and two clerks named. This ruling re duces the number of judges.
