A Fatal Accident
A most deplorable accident
happened Tuesday evening at
the residenco of Mr Valenta Ma
tula near Kokernot Mr and
Mrs Matula wore attending
church in Shiner leaving three
ohildren at homo ft gir of it
years a boy of 7 years anda
girl of 4 years About 2 odlock
in the evening the children be
gan playing and tho boy picked
up a shotgun The two gfrls ran
into a closet and the boy took
aim and fired The charge of
shot struck the youngest girl in
the face killing her itista ntly
Tho oldest girl was shot in the
knee and will likely bo a cripple
for life The parents did not re
turn until 0 oclock p m and the
children were alone in the house
until that hour

tells me that he will not teach this
school nor any father school next j ear
