Flyer Service. γν un wie opening οι ιπ>· summer travel to the north and east, the M. Κ. A: T. management, keeping abreast of the times, has vastly im proved its service. The famous "Katy Flyer's" time between Texas, St. Louis, Chicasro, and all northern and eastern points has been shortened thirty minutes to one hour and a new sleeping car line has been established to run be tween San Antonio and St. Louis by the way of Fort Worth, on the "Katy Flyer," necessitated by the increased travel. In addition to the shortening of the tluie of the "Katy Flyer," the Kansas City Express, train Ko. 2, leaves Texas one hour and fifteen minutes later, arriving at Kansas City the following morning 7:30. All of the "Katy Flyer" trains hare been re-equipped from baggage car to sleeper, wide vestibules, Pintsch gas, and north of Denison mail cars; the government recog nisiug the fast time of this train and insisting that its management begin to handle the United Stutes mail thereon. The entire Μ. Κ. & T. lines in Texas have been relaid with new seventy-five pound steel, and a large amount of ballast placed on the same tigh standard with the rest of the line. This rock ballast does away with the dust annoyance and passengers via the "Katy Flyer" Route are assured of a comfortable Journey. The eating house» on the M. K. A T. 8ystem are too well known to need commendation, but are main tained on the same excellent man ner as when started three years ago to give a first class meal for fifty cents; In fact, many Improvements have been made in the eating bouses, which most be .seen to be apprciated. ltdAw I ι · ml IIHIIII I I *111.1 .IIWI··—111 II .1» Hill WW, ( MRS.
