Mi·· Kate Roes was the charm ing hostess for the Twentieth Cen tury CLnb on last Thursday after noon, at the hacdsome home or Mr·. G. C. Groce, in North End. Roll call was answered with quo tations from the much loved poet, Father Ryan. Under the head of new business it was decided to discuss at the next meeting, the cours* of study for next year'· work. Also a com mittee of three, Mrs. Fears, Mrs. Shire and Miss Ella McKnigrht, w*re appointed by the president, Mrs. Wilson, to report at the next meet ing, whether or not, the club hoid its annual reception, an open meet ing or some kind of social session I at the club's last meeting for the i year 1908 '03.
