force the present quarantine and to
requir* fumigation of baggage* and a
ten days détention in lieu of five days,

been locate<l at Monterey, carrying on
an Investigation of the yellow fever

Mrs. Will Allen, married l^ss than a
yewr. and her lister were handling a
supposedly unloaded shotgun, the wea
pon was discharged. Nearly the en
