Holland of the firm of J.S.Campbell A Co., returned a few days ago from St. Louis and Chicago, where he bought the sprlug stock for his house. Mr. Holland says the weather in Chicago was extremely cold, the thermometer registering twenty-six degrees be low zero aud the winds from oil the lake were so severe that he did not attempt a visit to the lake front.
