After a vacation of one week dis
trict court convened this morning at
10 oclock The regular jury for the
week was impaneled and the case
of thp State of Texas vs Ilattie Rose
was called for trial Both parties an
nounced ready for tiial Just before
the noon hour the state rested its
case The defendant will intioduce
testimony this afternoon This case
will likely be finished today The de
fondant Is represented by Mr Kay
The School of Business Reopened
Prof Jameson has returned from
Jackson Tenn and was in his place
at the opening this morning All new
students should enter on or before
