the city Mr Clarkson is operating
extensively in real estate and it is
reported that he has just invested

Jury In the John Barrs Case
Had Not Reported
The case of the State vs John
Barrs went to the jury yesterday af
ternoon at about 430 and the jury
has been out since that time and up
to 3 oclock this afternoon had re
turned no verdict The jury has
made no report to the court and it is
not known what its attitude is
The grand jury again took up the
investigation of the Slocura trouble
this afternoon but no report is ex
pected to be made today
