that is a freak It is in about the
shape of the ordinary crooked handled
gourd and only about half the size of
the ordinary egg We cannot figure
it out unless the hen had been study
ing the makeup of the hobble skirt

Mr L S Wright of this county was
in the city Saturday with some speci
mens of corn grown on his farm He
called it the Golden Dent and beside
it being a fine ear with a big full
grain Mr Wright says It matures in
less time than the ordinary corn and
is a very prolific crop He says two
crops of it can be grown a year He
says it would be af value to the farm
ers of the county to ask some ques
tions about the corn
