light sprain in his right shoulder
It is charged that the collision was
caused by the crew of the north
bound tram running by their orders
and failing to stop and meet the
south bound train at Gould
The damage to equipment is estimated

hurt and the wrecker soon had the
track open to traffic

and instantly killed by Monlo E
Moore the owner of a string of In
diana theatres at the union station
here early this morning Family trou
bles are said to be back of the killing
Moore was arrested at Washington
Indiana where his wife is visiting as
he stepped from a train from Vin
cennes Five shots were fired by
Moore

and repetance culminating in the
Day of Atonement on the tenth day
of the j ear which is a day of fasting
and prayer The services on New
Years Day are very solemn and the
day itself is strictly observed by all

ness and attending synagogue Ortho
dox Jews observe the first two days
of the j ear in solemn manner while

be held tonight at 8 oclock and Tues

pears certain today that twentyone
people were killed in the dynamiting
of theLos Angeles Times building
and office Saturday morning So far
only five of the bodies have been re
covered from the ruins Wm J
Burns the San Francisco graft detec
tive declares that nitroglycerine was
used to wreck the building The dy
namite found under the Zehandalear
residence has been Identified as part
of a large quantity purchased at the
Giant Powder Works at Oakland on
September 19th by three men two of
whom gave the names of William
Morris and A J Bryson The dyna
mite was taken from the powder
tworks in a launch The third arrest
since the explosion is Martin Eagan
